  • Hong Kong Tourism  Board and BEF make plans together

The Hong Kong Touris Board and the BEF are making plans to work together in the run up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2008. The main Games will take place in Beijing but all of the Equestrian Events will be held in Hong Kong..... MORE

The British Equestrian Team competes in Dressage, Eventing, Para-Equestrian Dressage, Show Jumping, Driving, Endurance, Reining and Vaulting. They compete in major championships at Europeans, Worlds and, for some disciplines, the Olympic or Paralympic Games. The 2007 season is now complete and plans are underway for 2008 - we will bring you full news of their progress.  

 

 

 

 

  • Great season for Equestrian Team GBR in 2007
  • Equestrian Team GBR won 32 medals in 2007 of which nearly half were gold. Great Britain has also qualified a full quota of Equestrian Teams for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2008…MORE

  • Good Luck Beijing aids 2008 Plans

Great Britain took 3 horses and riders to the Good Luck Beijing 10th Anniversary Cup CCI2* (the ‘Test  Event’)  in Hong Kong in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Games. The aim of the exercise was information gathering and testing logistics and procedures prior to travelling the full teams out to Hong Kong. ....MORE

World Class News

The World Class Equine Pathway has been developed during 2007 in conjunction with British Dressage, British Eventing and British Show Jumping. It aims to support the identification and development of elite young horses which show the potential to medal for Great Britain at future Championships and Olympic Level.  The Dressage and Eventing Pathways are up and running and the selection for the Jumping Pathway will be completed by the end of October 2007....MORE.  


The British Show Jumping Association in conjunction with World Class has been developing an Evolution squad. This is a squad of 43 riders which compliments the Development and Performance squads which exist in World Class across the disciplines....MORE.
