CURRENT SEQUENCE OF EXERCISES IN COMPETITIVE VAULTING

 

COMPULSORIES:

ADVANCED TEAMS,  6 vaulters  time 6 minutes

 

The seven full compulsory exercises performed in two groups.

 

1.Mount, 2. Basic Seat, 3. Flag or Flare, and 4. Mill, followed by simple dismount to the inside, 5. Scissors, 6. Stand and 7. Full Flank.

 

PAIRS AND INDIVIDUALS..

 

The same 7  exercises with  no break

INTERMEDIATE TEAMS  6 vaulters time 6 minutes

 

Compulsory exercises performed in two groups

 

1. Mount,  2. Basic seat,3. half Mill to bwds,  4. swing with closed legs, simple dismount to inside.

Mount, 5. Flag, 6. Stand,  7. Swing with open legs,  8. Vault-off to outside.

 

NOVICE TEAMS  right rein

 

1. Mount, 2. Basic seat with teapot arms,3. Flare without arm,  4. Swing,  5. Free kneel, 6. Mill followed by  7. Simple dismount to inside.

 

PRE‑NOVICE TEAMS   Either rein

 

Three sets A, B C

 

A. Basic position clap hands four times in rhythm,  Kneel in bench position, Move leg over and back x 2, followed by simple dismount to inside.

 

B. Basic position , hands by sides. Bench. Swing, leg over and back followed by simple dismount to inside.

 

C. Basic position, hands on hips, bench, swing, leg over and back with arm outstretched to horses tail in inside and outside seat. Simple dismount to inside.

 

KUR: Advanced   teams        4 minutes

          Intermediate teams      4 minutes

          Novice teams               4 minutes

          Pre-Novice teams        4 minutes

          Indivdual                      1 minute

          Pairs                            1.5 minutes
