British Equestrian Federation (BEF) launch new website, Friday 7 March 2014....
With a completely updated look and feel in keeping with the Federation's recent brand refresh, the new site is aimed at delivering a much simpler, more logical user journey for its wide audience of visitors.

The website is the primary tool for the BEF to convey important information and documentation to the general public, event organisers and horse owners. It must also link efficiently with the website portals of the BEF's public facing brands; Equestrian Team GBR and Hoof.

In redesigning the site the priority has been to achieve a clean and informative environment to aid people in finding the correct information quickly and easily. The secondary aim was to create a more visually stimulating design to give hierarchy and definition to the content.

To aid navigation around the new layout the information has been grouped into four main sections relevant to the four main areas of the work of the BEF; riders, horses, workforce and places.

RIDERS: This contains information regarding rider development, including the World Class Programme,
links to find out how to get involved in horse riding, material for competitors; such as rules,
FEI links and sponsorship guidelines, as well as rules and regulations concerning anti-doping.

HORSES: This section deals with information on equine welfare, breeding, passports, research,
National Equine Forum and the World Class Equine Pathway.

WORKFORCE: The workforce pages include details on safeguarding, volunteering, UKCC, coaching and coach development.

PLACES: The places section contains pages on funding, riding facilities and clubs,
plus links to be able to find riding centres across England.

To complete the new layout there are additional menus to access contact details,
news and information about the BEF team, its stakeholders and governance matters.
