CVI Ermelo International Equestrian Vaulting Competition

Joanne Eccles wins again this time in Holland and ahead of European champion Rikki Laumann from Denmark.
While GBR junior male Andrew McLachlan also did the same with his 2nd win of the year.

Joanne lead through the 3 rounds and made it back to back wins from 2 weeks ago in Saumur France.
Her horse WH Bentley also produced some of the best horse scores to celebrate his 20th birthday on sunday, and while already being the most championship medalled horse in GB, he has now competed at over 50 international competitions.

Close behind were the other Brits, Lucy Phillips producing a PB in the technical test to pull up to 4th in a very class field, on her horse pitucelli, lunged by her mother Liz Phillips. Hannah Eccles produced a great freestyle round to finish 7th also on WH Bentley and  Helen Anderson did 3 clean rounds to  finish in 18th on Tylers Kernal.

Andrew lead throughout, but the scores were close, so the pressure was on, though this didnt show and he produced a polished performance, lunged by his mother Amanda McLachlan , on horse Tylers Kernal.

Our junior females did well, all on new horses, who are ones to watch for the future and Izzy Kyle on a borrowed dutch horse. They finished 14th Rebecca Norval, 18th Lisa Mercer, 22nd Izzy Kyle and 26th Jessica Haynes.

The Senior Team produced 3 good rounds too to finish 6th , pulling up 2 places from the compulsory round.

Rebecca Norval and Andrew McLachlan finished a brilliant 4th in their first senior pairs class. Both still juniors this year , but keen to run through their routine and looking for qualifications for 2015, they produced two great rounds in tough competition. They competited on Tylers Kernal lunged by Amanda McLachlan.
